Education

Upon graduating from the St. Petersburg State Institute of Chemistry Technology with a specialization in organic chemistry and biotechnology, Mrs. Marina Zolotukhina defended her Ph.D. in Chemistry with a thesis on synthesis techniques and research of the biological activity of new organophosphorous compounds. Afterwards, Mrs. Zolotukhina graduated from the Russian Intellectual Property and Innovations Institute. Mrs. Zolotukhina was certified as a Patent Attorney in 2000.

Practice

Prior to attending a post-graduate course in chemistry, Mrs. Zolotukhina worked in an Institute of Analytical Chemistry as an engineer. Her work was devoted to developing analytical reagents of new types. During her scientific career Mrs. Zolotukhina was engaged in conducting various experiments in laboratory and field conditions.

Mrs. Zolotukhina has been working in the sphere of intellectual property since 1995. Mrs. Zolotukhina has extensive experience in the field of legal protection of inventions in organic and pharmaceutical chemistry, as well as trademarks and service marks, including filing and prosecuting applications in Russia and abroad, consulting clients, drafting and registering cession and license agreements, litigating in the interest of applicants and owners before the Chamber for Patent Disputes at the Russian Patent and Trademark Office and the court.

Mrs. Zolotukhina joined the team of ARS-Patent in 2006. She participates in international conferences and symposiums for patent specialists.
