Ilmer<\/a>, <a title=\"Ilyana Lipatova\" href=\"http:\/\/ars-patent.co.uk\/cn\/our-team\/attorneys\/ilyana-lipatova\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ilyana Lipatova<\/a>, took part in the webinar with <a title=\"CIPA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.cipa.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">CIPA (The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys)<\/a>, which was held on 22 June, 2017.\u00a0 The subject matter was \u201cLandmarks in last practice of the Russian Patent Office&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The speakers presented the reports to the following fields:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cTrademarks in Russia \u2013 special aspects\u201d: Examination &#8211; lists of goods, abbreviations of consonants, 3D marks; Amendments into registrations &#8211; one request for several registrations \u2013 theory vs. practice; Assignment, licenses &#8211; facilitating filing system; Non-use cancellation actions &#8211; evidencing plaintiff\u2019s interest. Anna Bogdanova<\/li>\n<li>\u201cLandmarks in last practice of the Russian Patent Office after adoption of the new Russian Patent Law\u201d: Utility models \u2013 conceptual changes, Doctrine of equivalents changed, Dependent inventions, New patentability criteria, Amendments \u2013 severe restrictions, Patent invalidation \u2013 new possibilities, Industrial designs \u2013 list of essential features abolished. Mikhail Khmara<\/li>\n<li>\u201cPPH program \u2013 how it can be used to the applicant\u2019s advantages\u201d. Evgeny G. Ilmer<\/li>\n<li>\u201cChanges in the Russian pharmaceutical patent landscape\u201d: Government program \u201cPharma 2020\u201d supporting domestic pharmaceutical companies, Federal Antimonopoly Service initiatives, Compulsory licensing, Bolar provision, Data exclusivity, Estoppels, Patent term extension, Second medical use. Ilyana Lipatova<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) is the professional and examining body for patent attorneys in the United Kingdom. The Institute was founded in 1882 and was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1891. It represents over 2000 chartered patent attorneys, whether they practise in industry or in private practice.
