{"id":2311,"date":"2021-12-27T17:26:49","date_gmt":"2021-12-27T14:26:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ars-patent.com\/cn\/?p=2311"},"modified":"2021-12-27T17:26:49","modified_gmt":"2021-12-27T14:26:49","slug":"amendments-to-the-law-on-patent-attorneys","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ars-patent.com\/cn\/amendments-to-the-law-on-patent-attorneys\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendments to the Law on Patent Attorneys"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of the Russian Federation adopted the law introducing amendments to the regulation of Patent Attorneys\u2019 activities.<\/p>\n<p>These are the main changes to the law on Patent Attorneys:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; patent attorneys are authorized to access to Rospatent\u2019s information resources containing information on IP rights and to request information required for complying with the client\u2019s instructions from the government bodies.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the concept of client-attorney privilege is defined; the information obtained from the client is considered to be confidential.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; the situations of conflict of interest are specified, when a patent attorney has no right to accept instructions from the client.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; requirements to patent attorney candidates are defined.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/publication.pravo.gov.ru\/Document\/View\/0001202112210022?index=0&amp;rangeSize=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>The law<\/u><\/a> will take effect on December 21, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of the Russian Federation adopted the law introducing amendments to the regulation of Patent Attorneys\u2019 activities.
