Compared to the previous version of the Requirements, several amendments were introduced to improve Russian legislation and harmonize the provisions with the approaches applicable in foreign patent systems such as PCT, European and Eurasian patent conventions.<\/p>\n<p>Firstly, this concerns the implemented two-step check of unity of invention (before and after the information search for an application is carried out) and new requirements for grouping of inventions.
