EAPO strengthens cooperation with CNIPA

Within the 14th China Intellectual Property Annual Conference (CIPAC 2025), Grigory Ivliev, the President of the Eurasian Patent Organization, had a meeting with Shen Changyu, the Commissioner of the China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA).

The parties reached the following agreements:

– to continue the working dialogue with the CNIPA’s experts and IT specialists online and offline;
– to establish cooperation between the Assembly of Eurasian Patent Attorneys and the All-China Patent Agents Association;
– to organize promo events in China in 2026 to develop the interest in the Eurasian patent system;
– to provide mutual support in extension of powers as International Authorities under the PCT.
