ARS-Patent protected the interests of the client in the patent dispute

ARS-Patent’s lawyers represented the interests of Gefest LLC (defendant), a producer of aluminum grits from Saint Petersburg, in the patent dispute. Gefest LLC was accused of infringement of the patent owned by the competitor company (plaintiff). In the frame of the case No. А56-56510/2019 the first instance court made a decision in favour of our client. Despite the fact that the Court of appeal cancelled this decision, in the course of further proceedings on the case the plaintiff offered a settlement agreement with a single purpose of termination of the dispute. The settlement agreement without imposition of any obligations on our client was signed by the parties and was affirmed by the Court, the proceedings on the case were terminated.

The interests of Gefest LLC in the dispute were represented by Kirill Osipov, the Head of Legal Department.
