New Russian Patent Requirements have come into force as of April 29, 2023. Firstly, this concerns the implemented two-step check of unity of invention (before and after the information search for an application is carried out) and new requirements for grouping of inventions. These amendments will considerably simplify the process of getting legal protection abroad.

Also, the list of documents related to an application was updated, and the list of situations for introducing amendments to the application materials was extended.
