EAPO and KIPO make PPH programme permanent

The Patent Prosecution Highway Programme (the PPH Programme) between the Eurasian Patent Office (EAPO) and the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) has become permanent since January 1, 2022.

The programme PPH is based on the Memorandum of Understanding on the Patent Prosecution Highway between EAPO and KIPO signed on September 25, 2018.

The aim of the Programme is to provide the applicants, whose claims have been found to be patentable by either EAPO or KIPO, with an opportunity to get a patent faster and more efficiently through the use of the results of the search and examination conducted in the other participating Office.
