Education

Sergey Malyshkin graduated from the Physical Engineering department of the St. Petersburg National Research University of the Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics (ITMO University) in 2012 with a M.Sc. in laser technology and laser processing.

In 2015, Mr. Malyshkin graduated from graduate school of the ITMO University with a specialization in “Methods and Systems of Information Protection, Information Security”.

Experience

Prior to starting his career in the field of the Industrial Intellectual Property, Mr. Malyshkin worked as a design engineer in the Engineering Company Erlang Northwest. His sphere of work responsibilities mainly included design of physical protection systems for power engineering facilities.

Having joined the ARS-Patent in 2015, Sergey soon became a patent attorney certified by the Russian and Eurasian Patent Offices. Areas of his expertise include industries of mechanical engineering, optical engineering, electrical engineering, as well as IT & computer engineering. Sergey is also experienced in research, development and design of the means for physical protection of information.

Sergey is an author and co-author of a number of scientific publications in national and foreign scientific bulletins and magazines.
